Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about Relify, from clinical workflows and online appointments to payments, migration, security and support.

Relify

Relify is an all-in-one clinic management platform built for Malaysian healthcare providers. It connects patient records, queue management, EMR, appointments, pharmacy, billing, inventory, documents, reporting and day-to-day clinic administration in one system.

Relify is designed for general practices, family clinics, women’s health clinics, specialist practices and clinic groups. A single branch can use the same core workflows, while larger groups can add centralised controls and cross-branch visibility.

Yes. Relify supports independent clinics as well as multi-branch groups. Your workspace can be configured around the modules, staff roles and workflows your clinic actually needs.

No specialised hardware is required for the core platform. Relify runs in a modern web browser and can be used on common clinic desktops, laptops and tablets. Optional workflows such as receipt printing or TV queue displays may use the clinic’s existing compatible devices.

Yes, subject to the clinic’s access rules. Staff can sign in from supported browsers, while permissions determine which branches, patients and modules each user is allowed to access.

Yes. Available modules depend on the clinic’s plan and configuration. Roles and permissions can then be used to control which staff members can open or manage each module.

Getting Started

The usual process is to create the clinic group, configure branches, add users and roles, set clinic details, define services and appointment settings, and then migrate any required patient or stock data before going live.

We work to migrate your clinic data and prepare your account as quickly as possible. The exact timeline depends mainly on the size, structure and condition of the data being moved, as well as the number of branches that need to be configured.

Yes. Relify can migrate your existing clinic data into the system free of charge. We complete the migration as quickly as possible, while the exact time required depends on the size, structure and condition of the data provided.

Yes. Onboarding can include guided setup and role-based training so reception, clinical, pharmacy, finance and administrative teams understand the workflows relevant to them.

A demonstration or configured test environment can be arranged so your team can review the workflow before a full rollout. Contact the Relify team to discuss the most suitable setup.

Yes. Clinic groups can expand by adding branches and then assigning staff, services, inventory and permissions to the appropriate locations.

Clinical, EMR, and Documents

Doctors can document the consultation, diagnoses, medications, services, vitals, allergies, chronic conditions and other clinical information connected to the patient and visit.

Relify can provide AI-assisted features such as visit-summary drafting and diagnosis-code suggestions when enabled for the clinic. These tools assist the clinician; the final clinical record must still be reviewed and approved by an authorised healthcare professional.

When the relevant AI feature is enabled, Relify can suggest possible ICD codes from the documented visit context. Suggestions are not automatically treated as a confirmed diagnosis and should be checked by the clinician.

Yes. Recorded allergies and chronic conditions can be surfaced with the patient’s clinical context so the care team can review them during consultation and dispensing workflows.

Yes. Relify can support clinical documents such as medical certificates, referral letters and visit summaries, keeping generated documents connected to the relevant patient and visit.

Yes. Authorised users can upload supported files during or after a visit and view them from the patient’s file, subject to the clinic’s permissions and document-retention policy.

Appointments and Patient Experience

Yes. Clinics can share an online booking link where patients select the available branch, service, date and time. Once confirmed, the appointment is created automatically in the clinic’s appointment records.

Yes. A multi-branch clinic group can use one public appointment link and allow the patient to choose the branch before selecting a service and available time.

Yes. Clinics can use patient-specific links for a more direct booking journey. Access and the information shown should follow the clinic’s privacy and verification rules.

Yes, when online payments are configured. The clinic connects its supported payment-gateway credentials and can require a deposit or payment as part of the booking flow. Settlement follows the clinic’s gateway arrangement.

Relify can send configured reminders before an appointment. The channel, timing and message depend on the clinic’s notification setup and the contact details supplied by the patient.

Yes. New online bookings can notify the clinic and appear in the appointment workflow without staff having to re-enter the booking manually.

This can be enabled according to the clinic’s rules. The clinic can define cut-off times, payment or deposit handling, and which appointment types can be changed online.

Yes. Appointment status and no-show outcomes can be recorded so the clinic can monitor attendance patterns and improve reminder or deposit policies.

Pharmacy, Inventory, and Billing

Yes. The pharmacy workflow can receive prescribed items, support dispensing, connect the transaction to the patient or visit, and pass billable items into invoicing.

Yes. Authorised staff can record counter-sale items without requiring a full consultation workflow, while keeping the sale and stock movement traceable.

Relify can surface recorded allergies, chronic conditions and relevant patient context during medication workflows. This is decision support and does not replace professional clinical or pharmacy judgement.

Relify can track stock movements, batches, quantities, costs, expiry information, suppliers and restocking activity. Access can be scoped by branch for multi-location clinics.

Yes. Inventory views can highlight items that need attention based on the data and thresholds configured by the clinic, helping teams plan reorders and reduce avoidable wastage.

Yes. Relify supports clinic billing workflows with multiple payment methods and payer categories, including patient payments and configured panel, corporate, insurance or other payer arrangements.

Yes. Completed billing records can produce clinic documents such as invoices and receipts, with the exact layout and tax configuration based on the clinic’s setup.

Multi-branch, Teams, and Insights

Branches can operate within one clinic group while keeping operational records scoped to the correct location. Group-level roles can be given broader access where central oversight is required.

When group insights are enabled, authorised HQ users can review selected financial, operational and clinical indicators across branches.

Yes. User scope and permissions can be configured so a staff member sees only the branches and modules required for their role.

Relify supports role and permission management so clinics can define access for doctors, nurses, receptionists, pharmacy staff, administrators and other team members.

Relify can maintain audit and activity information for relevant actions, helping administrators review changes and operational accountability.

Yes. Role-specific dashboards can surface the information most relevant to the user, such as upcoming appointments, queue activity or clinical workload.

Security, Data, and Privacy

The clinic remains responsible for and in control of its operational and patient data, subject to the service agreement, applicable law and any connected third-party services.

Access is managed through authenticated user accounts, branch scope, roles and module permissions. Clinics should give each user only the access needed for their duties.

Relify is designed to help clinics manage access and records in a way that supports responsible data handling. Each clinic remains responsible for its own notices, consent practices, retention rules and compliance obligations.

Relify uses modern web security practices for transmitting and storing application data. Exact controls can depend on the deployed environment and connected providers; security details can be reviewed during onboarding.

Authorised administrators can review available logs and activity records based on their permissions and the clinic’s enabled modules.

Supported records and reports can be exported where the relevant feature is available and the user has permission. Large or full-system exports may require assistance so the scope and format are handled correctly.

Plans, Migration, and Support

Relify is offered through clinic subscription plans, generally based on the selected package and branch setup. Contact the Relify team or view the pricing page for the current packages, limits and included features.

No. Some features, including advanced insights, AI capabilities, online services or HQ tools, may be limited to particular plans or require additional configuration.

Yes. A clinic can discuss moving to another plan or adding branches and capabilities as its needs grow.

Standard data migration to Relify is free of charge. We aim to complete it as quickly as possible, with the final timeline depending on the size and complexity of the clinic data being migrated.

Relify provides product support and onboarding assistance through the channels agreed for the clinic’s plan. Issues involving third-party payment, messaging or infrastructure providers may also depend on those providers.

Use the contact or demo link on the Relify website and share your clinic type, number of branches and preferred workflow. The team can then prepare a more relevant walkthrough.
